La présence d'aldéhyde butyrique a été rapportée lors d'une étude destinée à identifier, en milieu urbain, les contaminants pouvant se retrouver dans le lait. Cependant, aucune relation avec l'exposition professionnelle ne peut être établie (Pellizzari et al., 1982).
