Utilisation et sources d'émission 1 2 3

L'anhydride trimellitique est principalement utilisé dans la fabrication de plastifiants du polychlorure de vinyle (utilisés pour l'isolation de câbles, de pièces automobiles et d'équipements médicaux) et de résines pour peintures ou revêtements. Il est également utilisé comme durcisseur de résines époxydiques et comme intermédiaire de synthèse de produits pharmaceutiques et de colorants.
