  • pour la préservation et le tannage du cuir
  • dans divers vernis, peintures et pigments et comme mordant pour les teintures de textiles
  • pour la préservation du bois et dans certaines colles à bois
  • dans des compositions pyrotechniques
  • dans des solutions de galvanoplastie
  • en tant qu'électrolyte pour des batteries
  • en photographie et en photogravure
  • comme additif dans la nourriture et les fertilisants
  • comme fongicide, bactéricide, algicide, herbicide ou insecticide
  • dans la manufacture de d'autres sels de cuivre
