Le CIRC (2017) considère que le DDT est probablement cancérogène pour l'homme (groupe 2A). Des associations positives
ont été observées entre l'exposition au DDT et les cancers du foie, des testicules et le lymphome non hodgkinien.
L'ACGIH (1979) considère que le DDT est cancérogène confirmé chez l'animal mais que la transposition à l'humain est inconnue (groupe A3).
Le DDT est reconnu cancérogène par le NTP.
